How we got here
In 2013 what started as a hobby became a serious obsession. In 2016 Kool Koatings Inc. was born, and obsession became the pursuit of perfection.
We began as a small hydrographics operation serving Belleville, Quinte and Trenton — work that came in from down the road and went back out the same way. As Cerakote, powder coating and laser engraving were added, the reach grew with them: first across Ontario, then to customers coast to coast in Canada.
Today we ship worldwide. Parts arrive from international customers, are finished in Belleville, and go back out to wherever they came from. Our process has not changed, but the shop has: from 900 sq ft of workable floor at our old location to over 3,500 sq ft today, and we are fast approaching capacity. What has also changed is how far the work travels.
We have coated everything from sensors that work kilometres deep in the ocean, to parts for custom Boeing aircraft built for kings, to humble bolt action rifles passed down through families from father to son.

On standards
We believe certification and standards are critical. We also believe they are a starting point — the bare minimum required to achieve consistent, high quality results, run after run.
Every part is 100% inspected a minimum of six times from start to finish. We work one-to-one with customers through R&D, RFI and RFQ so that results are reliable and certifiable.
